Apparently the members of Tesla enjoy the frigid winter weather here in Minnesota. One year ago today they were here, playing at the Medina Ballroom in Medina, MN. We had thought seriously about going to see them, but on the day of the show the daytime high air temperature was about 0*. Once darkness fell it got even worse, dropping to about -10* with heavy wind, making the wind chill around -30*. We decided we weren't going anywhere in that kind of cold.
Tesla, not learning their lesson, returned to Minnesota again last evening, 01/14/10, this time playing at Treasure Island Casino in Welch, MN in the midst of a white-out snowfall and some of the worst driving conditions one could imagine.. I'll have a review, photos and some great video from last night's show later today.
