This was the 7th time I saw Minneapolis Glam-Punk legends Flipp, it was the first time I actually photographed the show. Flipp had this contest called "Teenage Rampage", where local high-school-age kids with rock bands were encouraged to submit a tape of their band to win a "Headline" slot on a bill at the Quest with Flipp. The winner was called "Mr. Completely". One other band was picked to appear (No Pride), along with two other, already established locals (the Melismatics and iffy) to fill in the bill. I only brought one roll of film, so I only shot Flipp. And I'm sure we were having a few (several?)(a few several?) drinks as I don't really remember anything too special about this show other than that they kicked serious ass as usual. One of my favorite live bands ever. Total party atmosphere. You just never knew WHAT was going to happen...
